Funny Fosters ads
There are some great comedy videos doing the rounds at the moment, and even the advertisers have got in on the action. Fosters beer from Australia has found a winning ad formula with its series of ads featuring Brad & Dan – two young guys sitting on a beach in Oz, drinking Fosters in their yellow Fosters painted shack.
The boys don’t run short of things to chat about though, as they’re fielding a series of calls on the Fosters phone from British men in tricky social situations. There’s Dean – calling from his holiday in Cyprus – who’s in a quandary because his mate wants him to put sun cream on his back. Should he do it?
Brad & Dan are a bit freaked out by the idea: “Holy Dooley! A delicate matter, but a burnt wingman is useless.”
Although they’d rather not even think about it, they give Dean the thumbs up as long as he sticks to some rules: “Only put cream on where he can’t reach, between his shoulder blades – the safe zone!”
There are some definite no-no’s as well: “Remember, Deano, the following things are not permitted: Eye contact, scented candles, power ballads, and do not apply if he’s wearing budgie smugglers. Are we all clear?”
Brad & Dan are ready to help in almost any scenario you can think of – should John from Norwich wax his hairy back, is it a good idea for Craig from Leicester to tattoo his girlfriend’s name on his body, what should you do if you’ve got a friend who stands too close for comfort? The Aussie duo have a solution to any problem.
At the moment, pretty much every time you turn on the TV, you’ll catch a Fosters advert, but if you’ve somehow managed to miss them on the box, of course you’ll find them all on You tube. And nine times out of ten, the advice handed out is always a ‘good call’ by the boys on the beach!
